Meet the Mountain Gorillas
Volcanoes National Park in northwestern Rwanda is home to over half the world's remaining mountain gorillas. Trekking through bamboo forests and volcanic terrain to spend one hour with a gorilla family is consistently rated as one of the world's most extraordinary wildlife experiences.
The Trek

What's Included
Your gorilla permit ($1,500 per person, booked separately through RDB) includes park entry, a ranger guide, and one hour with the gorillas. We provide reliable 4x4 transport from Kigali to the park headquarters in Kinigi.
Getting There
The drive from Kigali to Musanze takes 2-2.5 hours on the excellent RN4 highway. From Musanze, the park headquarters is just 15 minutes away. We offer both self-drive and chauffeured options.
