The dry seasons — June to September and December to February — are the best times for wildlife safaris in Akagera and gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park. Trails are drier, visibility is better, and animals gather near water sources. That said, Rwanda is a year-round destination and the rainy season offers lush scenery and fewer crowds.
